PVL

The Premier Volleyball League is the highest level of Volleyball in Queensland. BVC Bears have teams available across most Adult and Junior divisions.

Seasons and TRIALS

Team trials are held near the beginning of each year with competitive seasons finishing in September. For opportunities to join mid-season please email our Bears Manager.

About the Season

Q: How to register for Competitive teams?

You can register through the Bears Portal at https://brisbanevolleyball.majestri.com.au/home or contact the Bears Manager at bears@brisbanevolleyball.org.au. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates.

Q: What divisions does BVC compete in?

BVC enters teams in all divisions and has a proud history of 15 Premierships.

Q: When and where do teams train?

Junior teams train Tuesdays and Senior teams train Tuesday and Thursday. All trainings are held at Kelvin Grove State College.

Q: How much does the season cost?

Season costs are set at the start of each season and players will be notified during trials.

PVL SEASONS RUN FROM APRIL THROUGH SEPTEMBER

Trials for each season are held near the beginning of the year followed by preseason training. PVL competition matches commence in April.

Bears teams train Tuesday and Thursday evenings at our Kelvin Grove venue with times varying across divisions.

All PVL teams have coaches, and our coaches are dedicated to player development and welfare. For opportunities to coach, please visit our Work with Us page or email our Bears Manager.

COUNTRY CHAMPS

Country Champs is an annual tournament run by Volleyball Queensland in Regional Queensland. BVC Bears teams compete against clubs from all over Queensland.

Senior State Champs is an annual competition run by Volleyball Queensland on the Gold Coast. BVC Bears teams compete in a variety of divisions for the VQ State Championship and the VQ President's Shield.

Junior State Champs provides for a mid-season opportunity for our Junior and Youth PVL teams to compete against other clubs from around Queensland. This tournament run by Volleyball Queensland is usually held on the Gold Coast.
